Cretan History at three places

We drive from the south coast through the Kourtaliotiko Gorge to Rethymo and visit the Arkadi Monastery, a symbol of the Cretans’ struggle for freedom. We then continue to the archaeological museum and the ancient city of Eleftherna before visiting the pottery village of Margarites and a traditional tavern with panoramic views.
